Aim of Course

To introduce students to the safe use of semi-automatic Pistols & Carbines

Course Overview

This course is suitable for beginners as well as experienced shooters wishing to shoot UK restricted section 5 semi-automatic firearms.  UK Police officers without previous military/firearms experience may also find this course useful prior to making the decision to apply for the role of Authorised Firearms Officer (A.F.O)

Notes

4 days duration, including arrival and departure travel days.  2 1/2 days Instruction, weapon hire & range fees included (base course)

(Please note 400 rounds of assorted ammunition is required to complete this course)

This course is designed to train the student in the safe use of a semi-automatic pistol for sport / overt roles and concludes in a summative pass or fail Pistol qualification shoot.  Suitable for beginners and Police / Military /PMC operators who have had an extensive lay off from roles requiring the use of pistols. UK Police Officers without previous military / firearms experience will find this Pistol course useful as pre-course preparation for the Police Firearms Course

Aim of Course

To train students in the advanced use of semi-automatic Pistols

Course Overview

This course is designed to train the student in the advanced use of a semi-automatic pistol for sport / covert / overt roles and concludes in a summative pass or fail Advanced Pistol qualification shoot.  Suitable for students who have completed our Initial Pistol course and Military / Police / PMC  operators who have only recently left roles requiring the use of pistols. This course is recommended for Close Protection Operatives or those with Concealed Carry permits for high threat environments.

Course Overview

This course is designed to train the student in the safe use of a semi-automatic carbine / rifle for sport / overt roles and concludes in a summative pass or fail carbine / rifle qualification shoot.  Suitable for beginners and Military / Police / PMC operators who have had an extensive lay off from roles requiring the use of firearms. UK Police officers without previous military / firearms experience will find this carbine / rifle course useful as pre-course preparation for the Police Firearms Course.

Aim of Course

To train students in the use of rifles at Long Range (up to 800 M)

Course Overview

This course is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced shooters and is essentially tailored to the clients previous knowledge and skill. Training includes safe carriage & operation, principles of shooting, zeroing a scope, ballistics for charting, positional shooting, scope adjustment, compensating for wind and other environmental factors, target identification, ranging targets using scopes / laser rangefinders, weapon characteristics, engaging multiple targets at different ranges and shooting from elevated positions. Courses are normally 2 days in length but may be extended by agreement as required by the client.

British clients attending this course are free to bring their own rifles for use on the course, from the UK this is obviously limited to Bolt Action / Straight Pull centre fire rifles. Please be aware that since BREXIT the European Firearms Passes issued by UK Police Firearms licencing departments are now NULL & VOID. While the dust is still settling after BREXIT it is clear that authority to enter the CZ Republic with firearms & ammunition will require permission from the Czech equivalent of the Home Office (as well as that of any transit countries). We suggest contacting the Czech Embassy in London for the up to date application procedure. This may take some time to complete (months) so please allow sufficient time if booking a course. 

We have a limited number of scoped Semi-Automatic & Bolt Action Rifles in various calibres that are  available for hire from our fleet which are suitable for use on this course e.g.

·       5.56mm / .223”

·       7.62mm / .308”

·       .338 Lapua Magnum

(Please Note this course is dependent on exterior range availability, we normally use a Range, located just South of the charming town of Bzenec in the South East of the CZ Republic close to the border with Austria and Slovakia)

NOTES

Ammunition costs are dependent on calibre and regularly vary throughout the year due to component / raw material cost fluctuations. All our courses apart from the Long Range Rifle course are able to be completed using 9 x 19 mm pistol ammunition, which is price fixed at £35 / 100 rounds for the 2024 shooting season. Our "Section 5 Package" course fee is inclusive of 400 rounds of ammunition, which also includes a selection of calibres other than 9 x 19 mm.
